Organize | Contemporary Office of Starr DDS

Ernesto Santalla, PLLC—formerly Studio Santalla—worked with Dr. Neil Starr, DDS to redesign his dental offices in Washington, DC’s Dupont Circle neighborhood. It was crucial that our design reflect the quality of the Doctor’s work, and instill confidence in the practice. Our interior design incorporates the state of the art technology in use by the dentists practicing in the office, and these technologies had to be integrated flawlessly into our design. The operatory offices were redesigned to maximize space and work efficiency, and built-in cabinets were added in the exam rooms to keep supplies out of sight. Design considerations where made to accommodate the addition of a state of the art high tech Dental Lab, to allow the practice to manufacture crowns on site. In contrast to a typical stark and imposing dental office, contemporary artwork and warm, neutral colors and natural finishes accomplish the important task of putting patients at ease when they enter the office. Studio Santalla’s contemporary interior design has transformed this space into a calming, professional setting for the dental practice.
